Common tile sizes:
- Floor tiles: 800×800mm, 600×600mm - Wall tiles: 300×600mm, 300×450mm - Small tiles: 100×100mm, 150×150mm
Quantity calculation: Tiles needed = Area ÷ Single tile area × (1 + Waste rate)
Example: 10 m^2 floor with 800×800mm tiles - Single tile area: 0.64 m^2 - Theoretical tiles: 10÷0.64 = 15.6 → 16 tiles - With 5% waste: 16×1.05 = 16.8 → 17 tiles - Recommended purchase: 18-19 tiles
